On MSNBC, Nation sports editor Dave Zirin attacked the trade of quarterback Tim Tebow from the Denver Broncos to the New York Jets this week saying Tebow doesn’t belong in New York because of the way he thinks. Zirin said,
“But with Tim Tebow you’re talking about somebody who has set of ideas, lets just say, that are different from a majority of New Yorkers.”
He was referring to Tebow’s professed conservative attitude on the issues of pro-life and gay rights.
Makes you wonder where we are heading.
Should the quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers be certified as a Democrat before he takes the field? How about the pitching rotation of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in Orange County? Are they all Republicans in good standing – no RINO exceptions?
Is that where the current ideological divide is taking us?
